After their recent Ofsted inspection, our wonderful Nursery School Hemsley House in Maidstone, Kent has achieved an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ grading. We are proud to share a few highlights from the report to celebrate this special achievement. The inspection report can be read in full .

Education

We’re passionate about early years education and put a love of learning at the centre of everything we do. Ofsted commended our team in Maidstone for planning their learning “environment exceptionally well, ensuring they match activities and experiences precisely to what children need to learn next.”

Nutrition

Mealtimes are an important part of the day at Hemsley House. The report highlights that children “sit together at lunchtime, sharing food they have helped to prepare, taking turns to use tongs to share out the lunches. They chatter and laugh together clearly enjoying each other's company and that of the staff.”

Healthy and happy

We’re committed to ensuring that children feel healthy and happy during their story with us. Ofsted reports that children at Hemsley House are ‘incredibly happy, safe and secure’. The team ‘prioritise children’s emotional well-being. They ensure that all children feel included and important.’
